Welcome to ETW Journal ("ETW Journal," "we," "us," or "our"), a product operated by Ethereum Wizard Trades (ETW). These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you ("you," "user," "trader," or "subscriber") and ETW governing your access to and use of our website, web application, installable app, broker-sync tools, Expert Advisor ("EA") software, AI features, competitions, and related services available at etwiz.space (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, submitting payment, accessing, or using the Service in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, the Monthly Winners Official Rules in Section 15, the Refer & Earn Program Rules in Section 16, and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to every part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
ETW Journal is a professional trading journal, performance-analytics, and accountability platform built for traders using ICT (Inner Circle Trader) and Smart Money Concepts methodologies, as well as traders of any other style or discipline. We provide tools to log and import trades, track performance metrics, analyse trading psychology and behaviour, plan sessions, keep notes, replay and backtest, receive AI-assisted insights, generate reports and certificates, take part in journaling competitions, and build consistent discipline across forex, crypto, indices, futures, stocks, and other tradable instruments. ETW Journal is not a broker, exchange, prop firm, custodian, fund manager, investment adviser, or financial institution, and does not execute, place, modify, close, clear, or settle trades of any kind.
You must be at least 18 years of age, and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction, to create an account, subscribe to, or otherwise use the Service. By using ETW Journal you represent and warrant that (a) you meet these requirements, (b) all registration information you submit is truthful and accurate, (c) you will maintain the accuracy of such information, and (d) your use of the Service does not and will not violate any law, regulation, broker agreement, prop-firm rule, or third-party right applicable to you. We may, at our discretion, request proof of age or identity (including before awarding any competition prize) and may suspend or terminate accounts where eligibility cannot be verified.
To use ETW Journal you must create an account using a valid email address and password, or by authenticating through a supported third-party provider (e.g., Google). You agree to:
Device limit. To protect accounts from sharing and misuse, an account may be signed in on a limited number of active devices or browsers at the same time (currently two). Signing in on an additional device automatically signs out the least recently used one. Devices that remain inactive for an extended period are released automatically. We may change this limit for security reasons.
Multi-factor authentication. Where offered, you may enable additional verification steps (such as one-time codes). You are responsible for keeping your second factor available; we may require additional identity checks before restoring access to an account that has lost its second factor.
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials, and we reserve the right to require you to change your password, re-verify your identity, or take additional verification steps at any time for security reasons.
ETW Journal is offered exclusively as a paid subscription service. ETW Journal currently offers no free tier, no free trial period, and no permanently free plan of any kind. A valid, active, and paid subscription is required to access any feature of the Service, including the trading journal, analytics, broker sync, reports, certificates, the ETW AI page, competitions, and any community or mentorship features. Until your payment has been verified, the Service will only show a subscription screen and direct you to checkout. Any reference elsewhere (including in older marketing content, cached pages, or third-party listings) to "free," "freemium," or "trial" access to ETW Journal is superseded by this Section 4 and should be disregarded. The free Expert Advisor described in Section 10 is a component of your paid subscription and is not a free tier of the Service. Likewise, bonus days earned through the Refer & Earn program in Section 16 are a reward that extends an existing or future paid subscription; they are not a free trial or free plan.
We currently offer two plans, Essential and Pro, each available on monthly, quarterly, or yearly billing as shown at checkout. In summary:
Essential subscribers can see previews of Pro features (for example, a labelled sample of an AI briefing) and will be shown an upgrade prompt where a feature is Pro-only. Previews and samples are illustrative only and are not live market data or personalised output. The exact feature list for each plan is the one displayed on our pricing page at the time you subscribe or renew; we may add, change, move, or retire features between plans as the Service evolves, as described in Section 22. Where a feature moves to a higher plan, we will give reasonable notice and you may cancel before your next renewal if you no longer wish to continue.
Where you subscribe to a paid plan:
MT5 / MT4 Direct Connect relies on a third-party cloud service that charges us for each account connection, each history pull, and each hour an account is kept connected. To cover this, Direct Connect runs on prepaid auto-sync tokens, sold separately from your subscription in token packs (for example a "Daily" or "Live" pack). By purchasing tokens you agree that:
Because ETW Journal provides immediate, continuous digital access to journaling, analytics, sync, and AI tools upon subscribing, and because computational, storage, and third-party resources are provisioned to you the moment your subscription activates or your tokens are credited, subscription fees, token purchases, and tips are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused features, unused tokens, or a decision to stop using the Service before your billing cycle ends. Exceptions may apply where: (a) required by applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction; (b) you were charged in error or were double-billed due to a technical fault; or (c) we discontinue the Service entirely before the end of a paid period, in which case we will refund the unused, pro-rated portion of your then-current billing cycle. To request a refund review, contact support@etwjournal.com with your account email and transaction details; we will respond and make a determination within a reasonable timeframe. Chargebacks or payment disputes filed without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension of your account pending resolution.
The Service lets you bring trades into your journal by connecting supported trading platforms (currently MT5 and MT4 via Direct Connect or the ETW EA, cTrader, TradeLocker, and DXtrade) or by importing history files (CSV, HTML, XLSX, and similar reports). By connecting an account you:
Subscribers may download the ETW EA and a personal EA key to sync MT5 / MT4 trades from their own trading terminal. The EA is licensed to you, not sold, for use only with your own ETW Journal account while your subscription is active. The EA runs on your own computer or VPS; you are responsible for installing it correctly, keeping your terminal running, and ensuring its use is permitted by your broker or prop firm. The EA only reads and reports your trade history; it does not trade. Your EA key identifies your account — keep it private and do not share it, publish it, or use it on accounts you do not own. We may revoke and re-issue keys if we suspect misuse. You may delete trades that were imported from a file or by the EA at any time. The EA is provided "as is" under Section 25.
ETW AI is the assistant built into the Service. Depending on your plan it may chat with you about your journal, analyse your trades, tags, notes, and session preps, produce coaching notes, reports, market briefings, trade-tag suggestions, notifications, and summaries, and accept voice input. You acknowledge that:
ETW Journal is a tool for personal trading analysis, record-keeping, accountability, and education. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including content removal, score correction, competition disqualification, feature restriction, or account suspension or termination without refund, against anyone who violates this section.
ETW Journal is a journaling, record-keeping, and analytics tool only. Nothing on the Service — including statistics, scores, ranks, tags, notes, AI-generated observations, market briefings, coaching notes, certificates, mentorship content, ETW University sessions, public journals, playbooks shared by other users, competition results, or any other feature — constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or trading advice, nor a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument, cryptocurrency, or security. A high Journal Score, rank, or competition placing measures how thoroughly you journal and is not an indication of trading skill or profitability. All trading and investment decisions are made solely by you, at your own risk and discretion. Trading financial markets, including forex, crypto, indices, and futures, involves substantial risk of loss, can result in the loss of your entire capital, and is not suitable for every investor. Past performance recorded in the journal, in ETW University sessions, or anywhere else on the Service is not indicative of future results. ETW, its founders, employees, mentors, and affiliates accept no liability whatsoever for trading losses, missed opportunities, or financial outcomes of any kind arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service, its analytics, or any content generated by ETW AI.
The Service calculates a Journal Score (0–1,000) and a Journal Rank tier (Starter, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond) for each calendar month. The score measures how thoroughly you journal each trade — not how many trades you take and not whether they were profitable. It is made up mainly of an average per-trade thoroughness score (covering, among other things, the Add Trade fields you complete, your written narrative, lesson, mistakes and post-trade review, your screenshots, and the tags you add, with tags carrying significant weight), plus smaller parts for your Notebook notes, daily notes and session preps, and for your wider journaling activity in the app. Copy-pasted or filler text scores less than genuine reflection. The score and rank update automatically as you add or edit your journal, and reset to zero at the start of every calendar month in your own time zone; nothing carries over. At least five journaled trades in the month are needed to rank above Starter. We may refine the scoring method from time to time to keep it fair and resistant to gaming; any change applies from the month after it is announced, unless it is needed to correct an error or close an exploit. Scores and ranks are a motivational feature with no monetary value outside the Monthly Winners competition.
ETW runs a monthly journaling competition ("Monthly Winners") that rewards the most thorough journalers. These Official Rules apply in addition to the rest of these Terms.
ETW runs a referral program ("Refer & Earn") that rewards subscribers who introduce new traders to ETW Journal with additional days of subscription access ("bonus days"). These Program Rules apply in addition to the rest of these Terms. You can find your personal referral link and code, your rewards, and the status of the people you invited under Settings → Refer & Earn in the app.
You retain ownership of the trade data, imported broker history, notes, screenshots (including images you paste from your clipboard), playbooks, session preps, checklists, tags, messages, and other content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant ETW a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, back up, transmit to our sub-processors (including AI providers when you use AI features), and display that content solely for the purpose of providing, securing, and improving the Service to you, calculating your Journal Score, running the competition, and (where you affirmatively use a public-sharing, leaderboard, or mentor feature) displaying it to the audience you choose. You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit your User Content and that it does not infringe any third party's rights. We do not claim ownership of your User Content, do not sell it, and do not use it to train our own or third-party AI or machine-learning models.
All content, design, branding, source code, scoring methods, guided-tour materials, EA software, and other software comprising ETW Journal — including the "ETW," "ETW Journal," "ETW AI," and "Ethereum Wizard Trades" names, logos, emblems, and trade dress — are the property of ETW or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Third-party names and logos shown in the Service (such as MetaTrader, cTrader, TradeLocker, DXtrade, TradingView, and prop-firm names) belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify compatible services; their use does not imply endorsement. Except for the limited, non-transferable right to use the Service as intended under a valid subscription, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission.
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that feedback for any purpose, including improving the Service, without any obligation to compensate or credit you.
Your trade data and personal information are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. The Service sends in-app notifications and cards (for example, sync results, rank-ups, competition announcements, winner announcements, AI insights, and the guided app tour that opens automatically a short time after your subscription is first verified). With your browser's permission it may also send push notifications, which you can turn off at any time in your browser or device settings.
We aim to keep ETW Journal available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access, and scheduled or emergency maintenance may temporarily limit availability. We may modify, add, remove, suspend, move between plans, or discontinue any feature of the Service (including integrations, AI features, the EA, and the competition), temporarily or permanently, for reasons including maintenance, security, legal compliance, changes by third-party providers, or product changes. Where a change materially reduces what your paid plan includes, we will give reasonable notice where practicable. Features labelled "beta," "preview," "sample," or "experimental" are provided for testing or illustration purposes, may be unstable, and may be changed or removed at any time without liability to you. The installable (PWA) version of the app may cache parts of the Service on your device to work offline; cached data may be out of date until you reconnect.
The Service relies on and integrates with third-party infrastructure, AI, data, and payment providers — including Google Firebase, Cloudinary, Netlify, Render, Groq, MetaApi, TradingView, Gumroad, and Pesapal — and with third-party trading platforms (such as MetaTrader 4/5, cTrader, TradeLocker, and DXtrade) and prop firms where you choose to use them. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, security, accuracy, or practices of these third parties, each of which is governed by its own terms and policies, and your use of a third-party platform remains subject to your agreement with that provider.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, restrict features, disconnect linked broker accounts, revoke EA keys, disqualify you from competitions, or remove you from the Refer & Earn program and reverse referral rewards, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful behaviour, fail to pay applicable fees, or if required by law. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid (including unused tokens), except as described in Section 8. You may delete your account and stop using the Service at any time by contacting us through the channels below. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately, any linked broker accounts are disconnected, and certain data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 8, 13, 15, 16, 18–20, and 25–29) will survive.
The Service, the EA, broker integrations, AI features, scores, and competition systems are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, accurate, complete, or free of errors, bugs, or data loss, that imported broker data will be complete or correct, or that any errors will be corrected. You use the Service, and rely on any analytics, scores, or AI-generated content within it, entirely at your own risk. Please keep your own records of important trading data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ETW, its founders, employees, mentors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, prizes, or trading losses (including any loss on, or failure to obtain or keep, a prop-firm account), arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you actually paid us (including for tokens) in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ETW and its founders, employees, mentors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, your connection of any trading account, your participation in any competition, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any right of a third party or any broker or prop-firm agreement.
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labour disputes, power or internet outages, governmental action, or failures of third-party infrastructure, AI, broker, connection, or payment providers.
These Terms are governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before pursuing formal legal action, you agree to first contact us at support@etwjournal.com to attempt to resolve any dispute informally and in good faith. Nothing in this section limits either party's right to seek injunctive or equitable relief where appropriate, or to bring a claim in small-claims court where available.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, the Monthly Winners Official Rules, the Refer & Earn Program Rules, and any additional terms presented to you for specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and ETW regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or any rights or obligations under them, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets.
We may provide notices to you via the email address associated with your account, through in-app notifications and cards, or by posting on the Service. It is your responsibility to keep your account email address current so that you receive important notices, including billing, renewal, token, referral-reward, and competition-prize notices.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, our business, or applicable law. We will indicate the effective date of the latest revision above, and where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice via the platform or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms; if you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your subscription as described in Section 6.

At Ethereum Wizard Trades (ETW), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how we protect it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights available to you when you use ETW Journal at etwiz.space, including our web and installable app, broker-sync tools, Expert Advisor ("EA"), ETW AI, and the Journal Rank and Monthly Winners competition (the "Service"). ETW Journal is a fully paid subscription service — we have no advertising-supported free tier, and we do not monetise your data through advertising. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
This Policy applies to information we collect through the Service, including our website, web application, public journal and leaderboard pages, in-app support chat, EA software, and related communications. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control (such as your broker, trading platform, prop firm, or payment provider), even if linked from or connected to the Service; those are governed by their own policies.
Depending on the features you use, we collect:
We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data. Please do not include health, identity-document, or financial-account details (other than what a broker connection requires) in your notes, screenshots, or AI messages.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not use your trading data for advertising or behavioural profiling for third parties, and we do not sell it. We do not use your journal content, screenshots, notes, broker data, AI conversations, or voice recordings to train our own or third-party AI models.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the basis of: performance of our contract with you (providing the paid Service, syncing accounts you connect, providing AI features you use, calculating your score); our legitimate interests (securing the Service, enforcing device and plan limits, preventing fraud and competition manipulation, improving the Service); your consent (joining the public leaderboard and Monthly Winners, connecting a broker account, push notifications, microphone access for voice input, and optional communications — each of which you can withdraw); and compliance with legal obligations (tax, accounting, and prize-related records).
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the following recipients, and only as necessary:
Every subscription, token-pack purchase, and tip is processed by a third-party payment processor — currently Gumroad (which acts as merchant of record and may collect sales tax or VAT) and, for some payments or regions, Pesapal. The processor collects the payment details needed to complete your transaction (such as card, mobile-money, or PayPal details, depending on the method) and handles checkout and receipts under its own privacy policy. We receive only confirmation of payment status, the plan or product purchased, the amount and currency, your account identifier passed through checkout, and a transaction or order reference, which we use to activate and manage your subscription or credit your tokens. A pending order reference may be kept temporarily in your browser so a payment can be confirmed if checkout is interrupted.
Connecting a trading account is optional. When you connect one:
You can disconnect an account at any time from the Brokers page; we then stop syncing and ask our connection provider to remove the account from its service. Imported trades remain in your journal until you delete them. Running out of auto-sync tokens also disconnects the account automatically.
When you use ETW AI, your message and the parts of your journal relevant to it (for example recent trades, tags, notes, and statistics) are sent through our backend to our AI provider, Groq, which runs the language and speech-to-text models, and the response is returned to you. Some coaching analyses are processed by our own AI service hosted on Render. Our AI provider processes this data under its own terms to generate the response; we do not use your data to train AI models. Voice input only starts when you press the microphone or start a live voice session and grant microphone permission; the recording is sent for transcription and we use it only to produce the transcript. Spoken replies are produced by your own device's built-in speech engine. Recent AI conversations and insights may be kept in your account or browser so you can continue where you left off; they are deleted with your account.
If you take part in the Refer & Earn program described in Section 16 of our Terms of Service, either by inviting others or by signing up through someone's referral link or code:
Your account and journal data are stored in Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Screenshots and images are stored via Cloudinary. The app is hosted on Netlify, and our backend services (broker sync, AI proxy, payment verification) run on Render. Access to your data is restricted to your own account by server-side security rules — no other user can read your trades, notes, or personal information unless you choose to share them through a public link, the leaderboard, or a mentor connection. Our security rules also validate competition score entries, keep broker tokens in a private area clients cannot read, and protect token balances and billing records from being changed from the app. We use Firebase App Check to help confirm that requests come from our genuine app, offer multi-factor authentication, and limit the number of devices signed in to an account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google's OAuth service. We do not receive or store your Google password. Google's own Privacy Policy governs how Google handles your data.
ETW Journal uses essential authentication tokens and your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember things such as your theme, sidebar layout, last page viewed, device identifier, display name for your account on that device, notification and announcement status, a referral code from a referral link you opened (until it is applied to your account), app-guide progress, chat-panel state, and cached app files for offline use (if you install the app). We do not use advertising cookies, third-party ad trackers, or cross-site tracking pixels, and we do not run any advertising or ad-retargeting programmes. Embedded charts provided by TradingView may set their own cookies under TradingView's policy. The app asks for device permissions only when a feature needs them — the microphone for voice input, notifications for push alerts, and the clipboard when you press "Paste screenshot" — and you can refuse or revoke these at any time in your browser settings. Because we do not track users across third-party sites for advertising, we do not currently respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
Your journal and account data are kept for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide the Service. If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, we may keep your data for a reasonable period in case you resubscribe, after which it may be deleted or anonymised. Referral records are kept as described in Section 10. Broker credentials and tokens are kept only while the account is connected and are removed when you disconnect. Voice recordings are not kept after transcription. Device records are cleared after a long period of inactivity. Published Monthly Winners results are kept as a historical record of the competition. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we must keep certain records (such as billing, token-purchase, and prize records) for legal, tax, or accounting purposes, which we keep for the period required by law.

We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity before actioning certain requests. Exercising these rights is free of charge, except where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

We may add or change sub-processors as our infrastructure evolves; where required by law, we will update this Policy to reflect material changes.
Our providers may process and store data in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognised under applicable data-protection law, to protect data transferred internationally.
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion and correction, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. You can exercise these rights using the contact details in Section 15.
ETW Journal is not intended for, and may not be used by, individuals under 18 years of age, and minors may not take part in Monthly Winners. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly and close the associated account.
ETW AI analyses your own trade, tag, and note data to surface patterns and generate insights, briefings, and notifications; these outputs are informational only and apply solely to your account. Your Journal Score and rank are calculated automatically from your journal, and Monthly Winners placings are determined automatically from eligible participants' scores using the published ranking order. Because these placings can affect whether you receive a prize, every potential winner's result may be reviewed by a person before a prize is awarded, and you may contact us to ask for a review of your score or placing. Automated processing is never used to decide your access to the Service or the price you pay.
In the event of a security incident that compromises your personal data, we will investigate promptly, take reasonable steps to contain and remediate the incident (including disconnecting affected broker connections where appropriate), and notify affected users and, where legally required, relevant supervisory authorities, without undue delay and in accordance with applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, the Service, or legal requirements. We will indicate the effective date of the latest revision above and, where changes are material, notify users via the platform or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
